Pentalpha has been busy and is busy making good men into masons! We have just initiated Brother C.M., Passed Brother B.C. and heard the Master Mason catechisms for Brothers R.K., S.S., R.W. and J.W. (and no, that is not the name of a law firm!).
We continue this work in May and will see our Senior Warden exemplify the third degree, our Junior Warden exemplify the first degree, and we will raise four master masons this month! It’s very exciting to see our brothers progress in their journey, both through the degrees and through the chairs and I strongly encourage all of you who are able to attend these events to come and show your support for your brothers.
In addition, there are so many opportunities coming up to fellowship with our lodge brothers and masons throughout the state. At Pentalpha, on May 11th we will hold our second monthly pancake breakfast which is both a fundraiser and a social gathering. On May 30th we will have a cook-out open house at 6:30 at the lodge. These are both great opportunities for you to bring candidates, friends, and family to enjoy a meal and have some fun.
At the state level, May 18th is the Grand Lodge Semi-Annual Communication in Cockeysville where elections will be held for the Grand Officers. And then on June 1st is the Grand Lodge Family Picnic from 11-2 with brothers and their families from all over the state gathering for food and games.
And as if that wasn’t enough, May is one of our blood drive months, so please sign up to give blood on 5/23 at the lodge by going to redcross.org and searching for blood drives in 20876 or using “Pentalpha” in the search bar.
A big thank you goes out to all the guys who continually show up to give of their time and talents to make our lodge the success it has been. For those of you who are able, we can always use another set of hands, so tell us your skill or talent and I guarantee we can find a way to use it towards the betterment of our great fraternity.
